Biography
Rebecca received her bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Connecticut in 2022. At UConn, she worked in Dr. Jeffrey McCutcheon's lab developing electrospray-printed pervaporation membranes for biofuel processing and modeling solar-powered membrane distillation for brackish groundwater desalination. She also interned at the UConn-based startup company Aqualumos, where she worked on photocatalytic removal of PFAS in water. Currently, Rebecca is pursuing a Ph.D. in chemical engineering at UT Austin and is advised by Dr. Manish Kumar. |
