This page is intended as a resource for organizers that are taking their on-site conferences online as a result of the COVID-19 crisis and due to other reasons. We expect online conferences to provide unique advantages (while having some unavoidable disadvantages) such as universal and affordable access, efficiency, and low environmental impact among others. I will try to keep this page updated.
The primary resource for now is a google doc with a debrief of the recently concluded online North American Membrane Society Annual Conference. It can be accessed at this link.
A paper on the first large online conference held earlier this year (the Photonics Online Meetup) is an excellent resource as well. Here is a link for that.
A series of Medium blog posts on the online International Conference on Learning Representations conference held earlier this year by Sasha Rush. It also includes a lessons learnt section. Here is a link.
