Biography
I earned my B.S in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University in the Spring of 2023. I’ve done Research in the computational biophysics department under Dr. Paul Whitford studying ribosome rotation in the summer of 2019. During this we built a database of the tilt and rotation of ribosomes in the Protein Data Bank(PDB). We also created a code that would constantly update the database if any updates are made to the ribosomes we run or if any updates are made to the code we use to analyze the ribosome it would update it. I’ve completed three co-ops so far. I’ve done one co-op at a company called Waters Corporation, as a chemical engineering co-op in 2020. During my time at Waters Corporation I would work on High Performance Liquid Chromatography(HPLC) systems and Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography(UPLC) systems. My second co-op was a company called Lyra Therapeutics as an Analytical Chemistry co-op in 2021. During my time there I supported scientists and engineers in manufacturing Lyra Therapeutics drug products for pre-clinical and clinical studies. My third co-op was at an Industrial equipment supplier company called Practical Applications as a Chemical Engineering co-op in 2022. During my time at Practical Application, I specified, designed, procured, and fabricated custom industrial wastewater treatment systems for pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, hospitals, and universities. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in chemical engineering at University of Texas at Austin and is advised by Dr. Manish Kumar. |
