Emily Miller
Biography
Emily received her bachelor’s degree in biological engineering from the University of Florida in 2022. At UF, she conducted undergraduate research in Dr. Carl Denard’s lab on yeast tandem surface display. Emily also completed two internships at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, where she worked on biological hydrogen production in Dr. Katherine Chou’s group. Her overall research interest is the application of biochemical engineering for sustainability, particularly relating to carbon capture. Currently, Emily is pursuing a PhD in chemical engineering and is co-advised by Dr. Manish Kumar and Dr. Alexandra Clarà Saracho. |
