Biography
Li completed her PhD in Environmental Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University advised by Dr. Kai Loon Chen. She received his BSE and MSE in Water and Wastewater Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology in China. Her previous research area was polymeric membrane surface modifications with polymer thin film and silver nanoparticles for membrane biofouling mitigation during microfiltration in water treatment processes. Currently she is working on projects related to develop methods, including reversing diffusiophoresis, engineering beneficial biofilm, and other novel ideas to mitigate membrane fouling in reverse osmosis system.
