Biography
Priyanshu Ranjan Gupta received his BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institutes of Technology in Gandhinagar and Mumbai respectively. Between the two degrees, he worked as a research assistant with Dr. Jaichander Swaminathan on developing numerical models for studying the energetics of various desalination processes. His master’s thesis centered around modeling particle flows using LAMMPS. For his doctoral research, he is studying ion selectivity and their transport across protein channels using biomolecular dynamics simulations. Outside of research, he enjoys playing soccer and is an avid Manchester United fan. Check out my website! |
