Tyler Culp received his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Syracuse University in 2015. His research experience includes 3.5 years of working in the Combustion & Energy Research Laboratory, a semester of performing heterogeneous catalysis for biofuel production, and a summer internship working at Sasol’s Organic Oilfield R&D Laboratory performing research with surfactant-induced oil-water phase separations for hydraulic fracturing fluid systems. His doctoral project involves working in collaboration with the Water & Process Solutions division of The Dow Chemical Company to perform morphological characterization research of reverse osmosis and nanofiltration membranes.
